Refined is hiring a Design Lead in Malmö (hybrid) with a salary of 58,000–66,000 SEK per month to own design excellence, develop designers, and ensure a coherent, polished product experience as the company scales.
The role directly shapes thousands of customers’ experiences and enables designers, product managers, and engineers to move faster with confidence through clear standards, systems, and practices, while leading the Product Design team alongside the Head of Product.
Responsibilities include setting the quality bar and decision frameworks for UX and UI, owning and evolving the design system, acting as the final design decision-maker when needed, and establishing design as a trusted partner to Product and Engineering.
In the first year, success is defined by strong cross-functional relationships, a clear understanding of UX gaps and design debt, a defined design review cadence, and consistently high design quality across product surfaces.
