The Senior DevOps Migration Consultant will guide a customer as they exit GitLab and migrate thousands of repositories to GitHub while adopting Harness for CI/CD and STO, with security hardened via Snyk, SonarQube, OPA policies, and Entra ID (LDAP/SSO) as the IDP. You’ll act as both technical lead and day-to-day client interface from discovery through cut-over, partnering with GitHub and Harness teams to design a streamlined, automated end-to-end migration golden path. The engagement offers an opportunity to set enterprise DevSecOps standards within a senior, low-bureaucracy team. Responsibilities include leading discovery workshops and inventorying existing tooling (GitLab, Jenkins) to produce a migration plan; designing RBAC structure and implementing repository migration automation (including full history, issues, and MRs); and defining and implementing Harness CI/CD reference pipelines, templates, and OPA guardrails. Additional duties involve integrating Harness with Snyk, SonarQube, and Artifactory for a secure supply chain; coaching ~350–400 developers on Harness workflows and inner-sourcing practices; and acting as a trusted consultant to stakeholders, balancing technical leadership with hands-on delivery.
