The role is an associate software developer in Athens on a 15-month fixed-term contract to cover a team member’s parental leave on Adaptavist’s Development Services team. The role sits within Adaptavist’s innovative technical team that creates novel, robust business software for clients across ecosystems such as Atlassian, monday.com, Gitlab, and AWS. Responsibilities include collaborating with all project team members via Slack, email, and Jira tickets, ensuring quality practices, designing, writing and testing solutions, solving complex problems, conducting code peer reviews, and writing automated tests at unit, integration, and functional levels, as well as troubleshooting builds and deployments. Additional duties involve documenting all technical designs and assisting with support escalation.
