Refined is hiring a Data Engineer in Malmö with a hybrid setup to build and own Refined’s analytics data platform, turning raw data into trustworthy, well-modeled insights for decisions across Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance.
The role involves end-to-end analytics ownership, from ingestion and modelling to data quality and adoption, translating business questions into clear metrics and data models and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and the CFO.
Key responsibilities include designing core dimensional data models, maintaining data pipelines with software best practices (version control, CI/CD, documentation), ensuring data reliability, and enabling self-serve access to drive data-informed workflows.
Required: 2–4+ years in analytics or data engineering, strong SQL (dbt or similar), data modelling experience, Python, and the ability to communicate in a distributed, English-speaking team; nice-to-haves include GCP/BigQuery, dlt, Looker, Pulumi, and experience coaching data literacy.
