The Sales Specialist – DevOps & Developer Experience in the DACH region acts as a specialist advisor across Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Native Engineering, Observability, and AI-enabled software delivery to help customers modernize software planning, building, securing, deploying, and operating practices. The Strategic Account Director will own 3–5 strategic enterprise customers, typically global and capable of generating more than £1m in annual gross margin, and is accountable for multi-year growth strategies and positioning Adaptavist as a long-term transformation partner. They’ll orchestrate virtual teams across Sales, Presales, Delivery, Customer Success and partners to deepen executive relationships and drive wallet-share expansion and sustainable account growth. They must establish direct access to Economic Buyers and C-suite sponsors, manage multi-threaded stakeholder relationships, mobilize internal champions, and lead partner ecosystem strategies with co-sell structures and margin discipline. The operating rhythm emphasizes CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, quarterly account reviews, commercial governance, margin discipline, and contributing to QBRs and sales excellence initiatives.

The Services Programme Manager (PgM) is a Cologne-based senior hybrid role owning a strategic portfolio of client-facing and internal programmes and projects, managing plans, dependencies, risks, budgets, and stakeholders across multi-workstream engagements while acting as the trusted advisor to strategic accounts. Operating in a strategic seat, PgMs drive client conversations back to Sales and Delivery to support growth of strategic accounts, using PM methodology and ITIL practices as the day-to-day senior representative of the Services team to ensure requirements, expectations, and technical concerns are addressed. The role ensures profitability through governance, reporting, and continual improvement, overseeing technology operational changes, support enhancements and maintenance to meet contractual needs and handle Incident Management, and works with internal teams to identify improvements and increase operational efficiency while collaborating with Business Development, Commercial Ops, Finance, and Account Management. Key responsibilities include defining and managing programme strategy across multiple projects, ensuring quality and policy conformance, creating and monitoring artifacts such as Level 0–3 Plans, Earned Value Management (SPI/CPI), scope change logs, risk/issue/opportunity management, and benefit realization, and coordinating communications, meetings, SLAs, and facilitating problem/incident/change management. Leadership duties involve fostering a consultative, value-driven mindset, leading continuous delivery improvements, coaching junior PMs, partnering with Sales/Delivery and pre-sales for account planning, educating staff on PMO processes, building a knowledge base, and advocating for clients and partners.
