Zendesk has acquired Forethought (March 2026) and is building enterprise-ready, self-improving AI agents; the Platform Architect for Forethought AI will bridge technical strategy and enterprise transformation, partnering with Enterprise Account Executives to architect complex workflow automations and voice capabilities while demonstrating the business value of generative AI to leading brands. You will serve as the primary pre-sales technical leader, guiding client relationships, leading discovery and scoping, and delivering solution architecture, rapid prototypes, and customized AI demonstrations that translate complex technical workflows into executive business narratives. You will own the PoV lifecycle, scope and run Proofs of Value with defined success metrics, and provide integration subject matter expertise across Zendesk APIs, webhooks, and cloud patterns (AWS), while advising on generative AI best practices. Required qualifications include 5–8 years in enterprise pre-sales/technical consulting or architecture, hands-on coding or scripting experience, strong AI/ML/NLP fluency, and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes accounts and articulate business value to C-level stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience designing AWS-based integrations, certifications or strong experience with enterprise sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC), and domain expertise in customer support or automation platforms; Zendesk emphasizes hybrid work, diversity and inclusion, offers accommodations for disabilities, and notes AI screening of applications as permitted.
