The role is hands‑on leadership: set the technical vision, prototype the hardest parts, write code, and raise the engineering bar by doing, while building foundational systems to measure AI, provide real signals, and run AI reliably and affordably at scale. You’ll partner with engineering and product teams to decide when to buy, build, or build something purpose-built, and you’ll mentor senior engineers and align principals across the organization to lift what the team can achieve.
