The Senior Fullstack Engineer at Zendesk AI Agents will shape both frontend and backend work, collaborating with a cross-functional team including Product Management, AI/ML engineers and scientists, and other developers to deliver fast, reliable features with a strong focus on user experience at scale. You will own building, testing, and iterating to bring high-quality AI products to Zendesk’s massive user base, maintaining and developing the Zendesk AI Agents platform using TypeScript, React, and other modern libraries, and contributing to modularization, scalable architecture, CI/CD, and deployment. You’ll build user-friendly frontend applications for designing conversations and automating workflows, work closely with teammates to ensure new features are stable and intuitive, and continuously learn new tools to improve UX and reduce code complexity. The ideal candidate is a communicative, product-minded engineer with strong TypeScript and React (or similar) skills, a proven testing culture, solid browser/web standards knowledge, performance optimization ability, mentoring inclination, and excellent English communication.
