The role is a Configuration Specialist in Zendesk’s Managed Services, based in Bangalore, responsible for configuring Zendesk solutions, consulting on best practices, and delivering hands-on production updates for a global portfolio of customers.
Responsibilities include maintaining product expertise, managing a backlog for customer portfolios, guiding customers to optimize Zendesk usage, collaborating with global Managed Services Consultants to gather requirements and prioritize tasks, performing detailed account reviews and configuration analyses, and designing, testing, and rolling out complex updates while contributing to process improvements.
Requirements include 2–6 years of professional consulting or customer-success experience, Zendesk or CX experience a plus, SQL/Python scripting, familiarity with analytical tools (Excel/Tableau/Power BI), strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives, with flexibility to work shifts.
Location and work model: candidates must be located in or willing to work from Karnataka or Maharashtra; the role is hybrid, requiring some in-office presence with a schedule determined by the manager.
